BFS March sketch challenge

This is my last BFS papers, still have some chipboards left. The sad thing is that no online shop in Sweden have theese beautiful papers, at least I haven´t found. The shop that I have bought theese papers from don´t have any online shop any more :( So I can´t get more of BFS papers and chipboards for now... :(

Well I had some fun making this page and that´s what counts :)

Prima March BAP

Do you ever have photos that don´t go with your pattern papers? I guess you do :) I have lots of them. As for example this photo, a photo of the most beautiful water and sky. The colors was so perfekt that evening last September when this photo was taken. But I have never found papers that match the photo, that is papers that I have at home :) 

So, these Primas Paintables are perfect when you don´t have the right colors. You just use the colors you need and want and you have the perfect patterned papper for your project. I used the Salvage District paintables and colored them with watercolors.

I just love these Prima flowers, these are from the Garden Fable flower collection

The leafs are cut with my Silhouette from a bit older Prima collection, sorry having blackout right now... can´t remember which collection....

The stencil is of cause also Prima, Circle is the name.

Rött, rosa och Prima

Idag bloggar jag denna layout i Pysslotekets blogg. Stilen min men absolut inte färgerna :) Lite väl mycket rött och rosa :) Men det är ju så kul att tänja ens lite på gränserna och gå utanför sin egen "comfort zone".

I Pysslotekets blogg visar jag även hur jag gjort bakgrunden till den här layouten, kika gärna in där :)

# cleanandsimplemixedmedia :)

Why cover up beautiful papers? That´s what I thought when I started with scrapbooking about 6 years ago. My love to beutiful papers made my style to quite clean and simple but not yet exactly that. I started to bring little bit of different media on my layouts, not much but a little bit :) I tried to find a name for my style but couldn´t. Then I saw that Pyssloteket had a course named Mixed media goes Clean and Simple. I did not attend that course but I found my style :)

So if you find #cleanandsimplemixedmedia somewhere you probably also find some of my layouts there :)

So this layout is for the 7dots studios Feb-Mars challenge which is about Emotions. The challenge you can find here in their blog. All the patterned papers on my layout are from 7dots studio.

A few years old photo on my son that I love so very much. :)

Once again there is a beautiful sketch at the Prima BAP this month and here is my page for this months challenge :) The challenge and sketch you can find here in their blog.

All the flowers and the stamps are of cause Prima. The patterned papper is from the Garden Fable collection. The leafs and the "Love circle" is cut with Silhouette also from Garden Fable collection as you can see :) The background is made with Prima Oil pastels. Scroll down a little bit if you are curious how I made the background :)

A little closer look at the beautiful Prima flowers :) 

And as I wrote I will show you how I did my background. No videos from me :) But hope you will se from the photos. It is very easy :)

You need some kind of plastic, I took a big plastic pocket. I did put the white paper into it to get a bit better photos :) 

So I started out to just draw with my Prima Oil pastels on the plastic as you see on the picture.

After that some water, using a mist bottle.

The water makes it possible to mix the colors which I did with a brush.

So when I had done this I just put a cardstock over this and lightly pressed on the papper.

And here is the result before. A quick and easy way to put color on your background, don´t you think :)
